Our team benefits from the years of experience working with our parent company that provides the patented floating solar Hydrelio™ system, the most installed floating system in the global market. From hydro-electric dams and water treatment plants to green pastures and vintage wineries, we are passionate about our floating solar projects. We explore new partnership and collaboration opportunities to help grow the new floating solar industry beyond traditional ground mount and roof top solar systems.
To support the growth of our markets, we are seeking a talented Floating Solar Consultantthat will proactively research and contact small to large businesses as well as public entities that own a body of water in the northeast (with a key focus in NJ).
What you’ll be doing:
•Learn the B2B solar business and the emerging floating solar market,
•Get trainedto become proficienton the company prospecting toolsandCRM system,
•Educatetargetedlandowners about the benefits of floating solarand company rental& PPAoffering,
•Proactively prospect new landownersusing cold calls,outbound calls and sites visit to drop off flyers to engage into basic discussion about the benefits of floating solar and company rental/PPA offers,
•Generate interest in floating solarthrough field marketingand set up appointments with a Senior SolarDeveloper,
•Lead the mailing program to landowners that cannot be reached in person,
•Positively represent Laketricityin an honest and professional manner.
Location:
(NJ Preferred): Work from home with 50-70% regional travel
Targeted Compensation:
~$60,000 -$80,000 per year-Potential to earn 80-100k over time with team success based on your leadswith company performance bonus.
•50% Gross base Salary + 50% commissions based on qualified appointments set ($250/Qualified appointment),
•Full medical and dental plan provided by employer,
•401K (50% up to 6%),
•Up to 25 daysPTO,
•All professional expenses reimbursed.
Position Requirements:
•High level of motivationto be outdoorsand in the field,
•Ability and willingness to cold call,
•Strong work ethic and coachable attitude,
•Strong communication skills,
•Good computer skills,
•Ability to work independently,
•A vehicle in good condition,
•Home-workspaceor close to FedEx Kinkos or equivalent,
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
