To strengthen our digital security, particularly on the notions of internal and external data sharing in our French and international entities, we are looking for a GDPR Assistant and Administrative Legal Support profile for a 6-month internship, based in Bordeaux. Ideally, the position should start as soon as possible.
We are looking for a GDPR Assistant and Administrative Legal Support who wishes to invest in a multidisciplinary and close-knit team.
We are looking for a motivated intern who is passionate about data protection issues and legal issues to join our team. This internship will offer you the opportunity to actively contribute to GDPR compliance within our company and to gain valuable experience in legal and administrative support in an international context.

Your role within the company

The GDPR Assistant and Administrative Legal Support will provide support to the company on the following topics:

Your missions as GDPR Assistant and Administrative Legal Support

Your assignment will include some or all of the following activities:

Data Sharing Mapping

  • Carry out a comprehensive mapping of data flows within the company (present in several EU and non-EU countries), including sharing with third parties and transfers to countries outside the EU;
  • Collaborate with different departments to gather and analyze necessary information on data sharing practices.

GDPR Compliance Analysis

  • Participate in the assessment of risks associated with data transfers and processing practices;
  • Propose recommendations to strengthen GDPR compliance and implement corrective measures if necessary;
  • Ensure legal monitoring of changes in the GDPR and data protection laws in the countries concerned.

Legal and Administrative Support:

  • Contribute to day-to-day legal tasks, such as drafting documents, reviewing contracts, and supporting case management;
  • Assist the legal team in the administrative management and monitoring of the company’s legal obligations;
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of internal training on GDPR compliance topics.

Your profile

Your academic & professional background

Currently in higher education in law, data management or a related field (Master 2 level, or CAPA preparation (PPI internship))).

Soft skills: human qualities expected

• Analytical skills and ability to understand and map complex processes.
• Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Rigor, organizational skills, and ability to manage confidential information.

Hard skills: technical skills expected

• Good knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and international data protection laws.
• Proficiency in office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
