    We are looking for…

    To strengthen our development in France, we are looking for a Junior Solar Developer on a work-study program for 1 to 2 years, based with the Bordeaux team. Ideally, the position would start as soon as possible.

    Your role within the company

    As a Junior Solar Developer based in Bordeaux, you will be actively developing, putting together financial proposals and keeping reporting tools up to date. The position also includes a marketing component.

    You will work in tandem with the Area Development Manager – Centre Val de Loire, reporting to the Coordinator – France.

    Your missions as Junior Solar Developer

    Your assignment will include some or all of the following activities:

    Active Development (50% of time)

    • Actively developing geographical zones allocated by mail, telephone or in situ in order to :
      • Identify high-potential ponds and lakes;
      • Identify pond owners;
      • Organize meetings with all stakeholders (owners, associations, local authorities);
      • Negotiate and secure land control for the development of floating solar projects.
    • Follow-up on sales opportunities.

    Setting up financial proposals (20% of time)

    • Draft financial and commercial proposals and responses to prospects’ needs.

    Reporting (10 % of time)

    • Keep up-to-date all reporting and development tools.

    Other Actions – Marketing (20 % of time) in collaboration with the Marketing team

    • Plan, prepare and participate in trade shows, events and webinars;
    • Deploy economic, sector-based and regulatory tracking;
    • Handle new requests and connect technical teams with external partners if required;
    • Support the project development team in any specific actions or needs.

    Your profile

    Your academic & professional background

    You are currently studying for a Master's degree in business/commercial/marketing with a strong international focus, or engineering with a double major in business.

    Soft skills: human qualities expected

    Hard skills: technical skills expected

  • You have a good knowledge of the Office package and are fluent in French and English.

  • You have knowledge of finance, project management and a solid background in sales, marketing, communications, project management and/or customer relations.
