Project Development Manager (Tokyo, JP)

We are looking for…

To strengthen our Tokyo office, we are looking for a project development manager (full-time employee).

Job location: Minato-ku, Tokyo (Nearest station: Azabu-juban 10 mins walk / Shirokanetakanawa station 8 mins). Please note that you can work from home (basically you don’t need to go to the office, you can go straight to the relevant places and sites).

Working hours: 8 hours of actual work, flexible working hours (core hours: 10:00-15:00).

Commission pay: Depends on performance and may be 0 yen, but there is no upper limit.

Your role within the company

The candidate sites for water-based solar projects are water surfaces and seas under the jurisdiction of the national, prefectural and municipal governments. Negotiations with the head of local government are essential. The municipalities have a wide range of permits and licenses, so the application process is also very time-consuming.

  3. Contracts and application,
  4. Bidding-related.

Your profile

Your academic & professional background

Experience with any of the following:
• Experience in project development of photovoltaic power plants,
• Experience in purchasing land for large-scale condominiums, commercial and logistics facilities,
• Experience in consultancy for large-scale land utilization.

Academic background:
High School, Vocational School, Junior College, Technical College, University or Graduate School.

Soft skills: human qualities expected
