Floating solar panels on an water supply pond

Homepage | Our projects | Nakashin Ike

It is a pond owned by Kato City, and a water purification plant is adjacent to it. The water from the reservoir is used as tap water.

In recent years, there have been concerns about the deterioration of water quality due to the proliferation of phytoplankton caused by global warming. Therefore, one of the reasons to start the project was to improve water quality by installing a floating solar power plant.

We rent a pond through a lease agreement with Kato City and pay the amount of use to Kato City.
