Building a floating solar plant with Laketricity

By entrusting your floating solar project to our teams, you can be sure of being supported by floating solar experts.

We will make sure that your site is respected during the construction of the power plant by providing solutions that will not interfere with your main activity or your environment. Your floating solar project will be managed by a dedicated project manager who will be your key contact. He or she will oversee all stages of construction.

Site preparation

  • Definition of site access, assembly and storage areas, transformer station and life facilities,
  • Installation of a launch ramp for the islands, depending on the type of site.

Anchoring installation of the floating solar plant

  • Anchors positioning on the bank and/or lakebed,
  • Locking the anchors to guarantee their position,
  • Installation of mooring lines.

Assembling of the floating solar power plant

  • Installation of solar panels on the mounting system,
  • Assembly of floats and structure according to the planned configuration,
  • Installation of the platform on the water and mooring lines on each floating solar island.

Connecting the solar power plant to the grid

  • Cable routing in maintenance aisles,
  • Cable connection to junction boxes,
  • Final connection to the transformers installed on the banks.
