Our support begins with the development of your floating solar power plant project. We’ll help you with all the necessary steps to turn your unused bodies of water into sustainable sources of income, while contributing to the energy transition and saving water at the same time.
We support you locally at every stage of the development of your project. Renewable energy projects such as floating photovoltaics are large-scale projects requiring both expertise and local knowledge.
Our project managers carry out all the procedures and studies required to obtain the necessary permits. Our collaborative approach, centered on active listening, enables us to engage in dialogue with all stakeholders.

For me, the development phase is the stage that enables us to understand the site in order to define the most suitable floating solar project.
The first step is to draw up an initial site inventory. As project manager, I work with engineering firms (ecologists, landscape architects, town planners, etc.), government departments and local players to understand the site.
Then, with our engineers, we design the layout and site plans, looking for the best project given the combined challenges. We also present this project to the various stakeholders in the area to obtain their opinions.
Finally, we carry out an impact study to understand the potential effects of the project on its environment and seek to avoid, reduce and ultimately compensate for them.
Project development is therefore a very rich stage involving many considerations, at the crossroads of expert opinions and feedback from local players to end up with a virtuous, integrated project.

Discover the projectIn 2018, our director Eva Pauly-Bowles met Forrest Arthur, Managing Director of the Santa Lucia Preserve. This community had two artificial lakes on its land, used for water treatment facility and irrigation for its golf course. Santa Lucia is located in Monterey county, California, and as for many reservoirs in the area,...
Discover the projectLearn about this floating solar power plant in Taiwan. 3,840 PV modules installed on a water retention pond. The whole structure covers 28% of the water surface. The anchoring was made with anchors on the banks of the pond.
Discover the projectIt all began in 2016 when Cedric Jaeg, CEO of Laketricity Taiwan, joined a working group on the development of solar power plants applied to aquaculture. As a result of this consortium, in 2017 Laketricity Taiwan won a tender to supply the floating solution that would be used to test FPV on...
Discover the projectA floating solar project developed by Laketricity: discover the Sugu #1 floating PV power plant installed on a water retention reservoir in Taiwan. The floating structure covers 15% of the total water surface. The floating solar power plant was anchored using a hybrid method: at the bottom of the pond, but also...
Discover the projectKagawa Prefecture is a region where floating solar power generation is thriving, and the local community has been interested in renewable energy for several years. This pond is operated by the local Water Users Association and owned by Takamatsu City. In response to a request for the construction of a power plant...
Discover the projectIt is a pond owned by Kato City, and a water purification plant is adjacent to it. The water from the reservoir is used as tap water. In recent years, there have been concerns about the deterioration of water quality due to the proliferation of phytoplankton caused by global warming. Therefore, one...
